It all started when Bernie tasted his first “Beer Butt Chicken” cooked on a Weber charcoal grill more than three decades ago. Since that time, he worked to achieve the “perfect” seasoning for all grilled food items. Friends and family enjoyed using his spicy salt blend on all types of foods. Word-of-mouth spread to cooks and chefs in the Upper Midwest who now happily use his zesty blends. Bernie and his wife Janine, now offer his “famous” bottles of seasonings as well as many beautifully crafted and unique “Up North” items.
